Overtitans: Destroyers of Worlds

Made in 9 days for GDevelop BIG Game Jam #7 by a two-person team: TheAvIGOLD & Jurfix

About lore

The Legion of Darkness won the Great War.
Worlds fell one by one, and in each conquered land, they left behind their enforcers -
Titans, ancient giants known only as the Destroyers of Worlds.

You are one of the last mages of light.
A member of a secret order that uncovered a long-lost branch of forbidden magic, said to have the power to kill Titans… and everything else around them.

The world is already broken. But in your hands lies unchecked power that might restore it or finish what the Titans started.

Overpowered by Design

Overtitans is an experimental action game where you create your own spells by combining runes.
Each combination unleashes a different type of destruction from focused beams to chaotic explosions.
Stack more runes to amplify the power... at the risk of losing control.

No cooldowns. No safety. Just raw magic and your will to use it.

Face Titans. Shape the battlefield. Discover secrets.

The world is fragile. Your magic breaks it.
Some say defeating a Titan reveals something never seen before.
But legends are often born from fire.

This game is honestly really fun and kind of addictive in the best way. The whole “stack as many spell orbs as you want” idea feels super unique compared to most incremental or combat games, and watching the spells scale from small hits into full screen destruction is insanely satisfying.

The terrain destruction mechanic is also a really cool touch. Slowly carving through the map until everything drops into lava makes each run feel like it escalates in a really dramatic way.

I’m curious how the damage scaling works under the hood, since it feels like it ramps up massively at certain points rather than increasing smoothly. If there’s any explanation for how orb stacking or terrain damage is calculated, that would be really interesting to know.

Also, this would honestly be amazing as a downloadable PC version. A standalone app (preferably itch desktop) would make the experience feel smoother and might allow more consistent input handling and performance during heavy spell stacking moments.

i cant figure out the fist skeleton. it says left click but nothing happened. at most i get fireball circling me and they dont do anythign and the skelliton walks through it un harmed, the left click makes all the fire balls disapear. it looked intresting but i cant go anywere if i die all the time with the first enemy. am i doing something wrong
